What we build follows what the business needs.
Brand Hand works from the business problem outward. Positioning, identity, web, photography, film, launch and the rest come into the engagement where they can actually move the brand forward.
Not sure which stage the brand is at? Start with the problem.
Five stages, in order.
Find the Truth
Before we build anything, we get underneath the marketing and understand the business, the customer, the market and where the company is going.
Explore Brand Strategy →Shape the Story
Once we know what's true, we decide where the company should stand, what it can credibly own, and how to make that difference clear.
Explore Brand Positioning →Make the Mark
We turn the position into a visual identity people can recognize, remember and trust.
Explore Brand Identity →Build the World
We carry the brand into the places people actually experience it — digital, photography, film, sales materials, campaigns, environments and the touchpoints that make it real.
Explore Brand Experience →Put It to Work
We run the rollout: leadership briefing, employee launch, sales tools, website and channels live, campaign in market — then stay on it so the brand holds.
Explore Brand Activation →See the work these five stages produced or book a 20-min fit call.

Disciplines we use inside any stage.
Web
Website strategy, design and build - the place the whole brand has to work at once.
Photography
Real people, products and places, shot on location with intent.
Film
Short-form brand film and field documentary work, when a story needs motion.
Murals & hand-painted signage
Brand murals, hand-painted signs, lettering and artwork - the brand rendered at full scale by real painters and sign painters.
Rebranding
Full re-work of a name, mark or story a business has outgrown.
Naming
Company, product and category names, built to survive a legal search and a sales call.
Sales tools
Decks, sell sheets and proposal systems that put the strategy to work.
Two ways to work together.
Complete brand build
Twelve to twenty-four weeks. Strategy, story, identity, experience and activation, built together from one truth.
Ongoing partnership
Six to twelve months and up. Steady creative support once the brand is live - campaigns, content, new launches.

Questions we get asked
What does Brand Hand do?+
Brand Hand is a brand building company in the Texas Hill Country, near Austin. One team builds the whole brand - strategy, story, design, digital, photography and film.
Where is Brand Hand based?+
The Texas Hill Country, west of Austin. We work with companies across the country, and host client offsites at the ranch.
What does a complete brand build cost?+
Complete brand builds start at $25,000. Ongoing partnerships start at $5,000 a month. If that's not the range you're in, tell us anyway and we'll point you to someone who fits.
How long does a brand build take?+
Twelve to twenty-four weeks, depending on scope. Partnerships run six to twelve months after that.
Do you take one-off projects?+
We build or re-work the whole brand, then stay on it. That way the thinking carries all the way into the market and keeps holding up as the business moves.
What's the difference between a brand building company and an agency?+
We own the brand end to end. Strategy, design, web, photography and film all answer to one crew and one partner, so the work stays coherent through every handoff.
Do you work with startups?+
Yes. The truth we build on comes from the operators, not the operating history, so a company with no revenue has as much of it as one with forty years behind it.
What industries do you work in?+
Most of our work lands in outdoor and western brands, manufacturing and industrial companies, consumer products, and service businesses with a strong operator at the center. The through-line is companies with something real to build on.
