Venture Drilling Supply had grown past its own name. It was becoming the country's largest water well, mining and geothermal distributor while still presenting like a regional parts counter - and leadership had no shared language for what it was becoming.
We grounded them in who they already were, then gave it a name: Republic Drill Co. It embraces the vertical instead of hiding in it, and turns a customer base into a citizenry. We wrote the mission, vision and purpose, the manifesto - "This industry takes grit" - and a voice that never talks above or below a driller. Two marks, one Republic: the primary lockup and the circle seal. Four colors, with Venture Red reserved for equipment only, so paint on a jobsite is brand. We shot all the photography and film ourselves at rig height - no stock smiles, no AI renders. Then the site: equipment, services, parts and tooling in the order a driller buys, four locations under one number.
"Drillers deserve a Republic. So we created one."

Identity, digital and the systems behind it.
The work, shown as it was made.
Republic went to market as a Republic, not a rename. One brand book governs the marks, the color law, the type, the voice and the rig livery. The site sells iron, parts, service and tooling in the customer's order - 300+ assets, 1,300+ customers, four locations reading as one operation - and the films gave the trade something it rarely gets: its own work shown with reverence.
